Sunnies

Sunglasses are a fashion staple for that summertime outfit or look. Choosing the right sunglasses is a big pain for many. You have to get the perfect pair that suits you, your face, and a pair that makes you glow so to speak.

Weather you go for the cool Coltrane look, the California skater style or something more high-end; make sure it fits who you are. I can't even begin to recall the numerous times I've seen people wearing sunglasses that were totally not within them and made them look utterly ridiculous. Sometimes they do it all for attention and just chose the most obnoxious model possible. Please promise me that this summer you guys make good choices in sunnies and make me proud.

Future Forecast

So as I sit here on the throne I'm think about a lot of things. My career for one and where it's headed. The world of architecture is starting to get smaller and smaller. With the economy being the way it is it makes our world as architects vulnerable in many ways. No one is spending money to renovate and/or build new buildings really. Banks are so extra cautious that they aren't lending money so what is a young promising designer to do? Should I stay and withstand the tide? Or should I branch out for a bit and dabble into different areas? I know I can do clothing and photography but I’m not sure that's the route I want to go. Although I love both I feel that if I choose either as a career I might fall out of love with them. Maybe a good ole friend chat with my other designer friends is needed to sort things out since we all are feeling it. I also was thinking about going back to school to do my Masters in Architecture one day, not too sure if I can get into the studying frame of mind again though. I do know that there are decisions to be made in my future so be on the lookout.

Celeb Skin

Damn what's up with the celebs and these sex tape and nude photos? I mean I'm not complaining or nothing but why do they constantly fall into this trap? You think that the countless examples of exposed celebs would be a deterrent but it's not. Celebs are attention whore and regardless of whether it's good press or bad press they don't care because they're being talked about in some form. So from all the boys to you women celebs "keep em coming!"

Artsy

It's good to be a creative person; I wouldn't have it any other way. The thing I hate is people think that that's all I want to talk about in a conversation is art or architecture stuff. Like damn I like other shit too like music, sport, current events etc. To be honest if I'm not doing anything work related I'm not focused on the arts. I like to keep it balanced at all times. Especially now that I'm in a creative funk, I really don't want to hear anything about art or architecture until I'm back in my groove.

New York Fucking City

New York city today is a mere shell of its former self. This city is losing its social character with this influx of well off youngsters who, because of their financial position, have caused native New Yorkers to have to change their way of living. Seems like everything is being catered to these guys. Whatever UN-New York thing they do is the cool new thing. The thing is don't come here and act like you've been here for ages and that you are the numero uno New Yorker. I see in the not so distant future all of us New Yorkers will be eventually pushed out or made to adapt to this 'New' York they are trying to make.

Allergy season again

Allergy season is underway and I literally feel like shit. My nose is running, eyes are watery, uncontrollable sneezing and I'm miserable like a mofo. To think that I was never really affected by allergies until I was in my twenties. This must be payback for some shit I did in the past. Sorry Maryellen for kicking you in the face Lol. I just hope it ends soon because I might gouge my eyes out.
