NYC concert scene is DEAD

I swear that last year there were so many good shows I attended and so far for this year there hasn't really been anything good going down in the concert scene. Maybe it'll change when the summer draws near. That's where I get most of my enjoyment from. The live shows by a really dope artist is always the best. I remember seeing Wu-tang when they were still fairly good and relevant. The memories from that show alone takes me to a place that only true music fans can appreciate. Oh the memories!!!

Do you feel like your life is at a stop?

I sorta feel that way. I was on my way to accomplishing my goals and for some reason or another I've hit a road block. The motivation is still there but there is something holding me back. Not even sure what it is because if I really knew I certainly wouldn't be blogging about it. I just hope I figure it out quick because being non-productive is definitely not my thing.

Ipod Moods Vol.2

Architecture: U-House

Done by Architect Natalie Dionne as her live work residence. This renovation was achieved by using an existing building, adding two additions in the adjacent property on front and back forming a U shape hence the "U-House" name. Apart from the existing brick She used dark wood on parts of the exterior which blend nicely with the brick. The interior and exterior spaces seem to flow seemlessly from one to another.

NYC house parties

Who remembers the house parties from the 90’s? I have so many fond memories of the parties I went to back then. Nothing beats a Brooklyn basement party in the 90’s.There was nothing but sweat and good vibes. I was talking to my good friend HW the other day on how we need to take it back to those days of just freedom and no worries. Who knows it might just be happening again. Be on the lookout.

Ipod Moods Vol.1

I think my musical taste is top notch so with this new installment I'll post what I'm listening to on any given day. It's not going to be an everyday thing but periodically.

Valentines Day

Ugh!!! I feel another royalty rant coming along. I swear this country makes up so many bullshit holidays for people to just spend money and do things that they really should have been doing on and everyday basis. People get all romantic on Valentines Day it's sickening. I mean I'm semi-romantic but I do that shit when I want to and no holiday will force me to change. People need to really re-evaluate things and know not to let a day define their whole relationship.

And another one

The weekend was great but now i'm back on this Architectural grind of never ending corrections and deadlines. Atleast it's not as bad as the previous weeks. I'm still looking for the perfect camera bag to carry all my stuff and my camera as well. The bag I have now just isn't cutting it.

Visvim S/S 2009 Sneakers

So Japanese bran Visvim released some images of a few new colorways or their Logan model which is basically their version of van's Sk8-Hi's. I think i'm in love all over again and might just have to cheat on my recent vans purchase and pick up a pair when they finally drop.

Back At It

So my schedule is clearing up now so i'll be back to blogging again. Getting a new lens in a bit so you know what that means. It's been a really stressful January but I made it through that pretty good. Hope you guys didn't cry while I was away.
